EMC NetWorker™ Reports
All basic backupVISUAL™ report types are grouped in “Views”. Each “View” covers a specific array (E.g. information on media, information on performance etc.). The following list gives you a short overview about the available reports under each “View” for EMC NetWorker™:
Media Views | |
Media Report | Creates media related reports. E.g. number of available tapes per location or average capacity per tape. |
Summary Report | Creates summary reports about media with up to 4 grouping level and different display options. |

Save Group Views | |
Save Group Report | Creates detailed reports based on save groups. E.g. backed up data per save group or percentage of successful save groups opposed to unsuccessful save groups. |
Save Group Overview | Creates a complete backup overview (successful, failed etc.) based on save groups. |
Save Group Summary | Creates summary reports about save groups with up to 4 grouping level and different display options. |
Save Group Grid | Creates a grid with various grouping options as timeline, based on save groups. |

Session Views | |
Session Report | Creates detailed reports based on sessions. E.g. backed up amount of data per level or managed amount of data per cost center. |
Session Overview | Creates a complete backup overview (successful, failed etc.) based on sessions. |
Session Summary | Creates summary reports about sessions with up to 4 grouping level and different display options. |
Session Grid | Creates a grid with various grouping options as timeline, based on sessions. |

Save Set Views | |
Save Set Report | Creates detailed reports about save sets. E.g. used amount of data on media per group or distribution of data on media per client type |
Save Set Summary | Creates summary reports about save sets with up to 4 grouping level and different display options. |

Performance Report | Creates detailed performance reports. E.g. total throughput for backup server, tape library, tape drive etc. |
Resource Usage | Creates reports about the workload of the backup server, tape library or tape drives. |
