NEW:
backupVISUAL™ 2.3
After a very
intensive development and test stage we are pleased to introduce
the completely new version 2.3 of backupVISUAL™. The
new version was optimized and still more standardized in
many areas so that future expansions (reports, functions,
features etc.) can be integrated still faster and more simply.
Besides the internal optimizations, which are not directly
visible to the user, backupVISUAL™ 2.3 shines again
once more with essential expansions:
NEW:
Intuitive GUI
The new intuitive GUI with the all new side panel allows
you a much better overview and structuring to your reports.

NEW: Standard Reports Favorites
backupVISUAL™
2.3 comes with over 50 standard report templates!
They are grouped in different administration tasks. You
can customize or change these reports to your needs and
put them to the Public- or Personal-Favorites.

New:
Favorites
Completely new possibilities arise with the backupVISUAL™
2.3 Favorites. Simply put all your standard reports into
the "Public Favorites" and every backupVISUAL™
Reporter user within your company can immediately use them.
The corresponding user rights can be defined via the "user
profile" option. You own personal reports can be organized
and structured within the "Personal Favorites".
NEW:
Save your Templates in the backupVISUAL™ Database
One of the biggest innovations in backupVISUAL™ 2.3
is the possibility to save your Report Templates directly
in the database. Of course those Report Templates can also
be used together with the famous backupVISUAL™ BatchReporter.
Together with the also complete new function "Favorites",
you will receive unforeseen reporting capabilities of your
backup environment.
New: Templates with an automatic
date calculation
When you save a report to the database or to a file, you
may now choose from exciting new options. So you can define
that the report is generated automatically for a specific
period (E.g. yesterday, last month, last quarter etc.),
when you open it. You may also define, that the report dialog
will not displayed on open. This function can perfectly
used together with backupVISUAL™ Favorites. With just
one click you will get an actual report!

NEW: Summary Report
The Summary Report is a complete new backupVISUAL™
report type. Summary reports are available under "Media
Views", "Job Views" and "Image Views".
You may choose up to 4 different grouping levels. For a
monthly report to check the quality of your backups, you
can use the Job Overview Report and group it with: Success,
Client Type, and Client Name:

The drill-in functions allows you get the job details down
the client level including displaying the error messages
and/or the retries.
NEW: Enhancement of existing
reports
Some of the existing reports are enhanced with some additional
selection- and grouping options.
